Our core rule: Refunds are allowed. We calculate the amount based on usage during the applicable billing period and refund only the unused portion.
1. Subscription cancellation
You can cancel your SJJ CLOUD subscription through the account billing portal. Unless a checkout offer states otherwise, cancellation stops the next renewal and your access remains available through the end of the paid billing period. Canceling does not automatically create a refund for a period already paid; refund requests are handled under the usage-based calculation below.
2. Usage-based refund calculation
When a refund is approved for a subscription, we determine the unused portion of the relevant billing period using the plan’s included and purchased capacity, the elapsed service time, and recorded usage. The refund is limited to the portion that has not been used. We may consider API calls, workflow runs, data transfer, storage, connected-provider operations, add-ons, and other metered resources applicable to the purchase.
For illustration only: if a customer has used approximately 25% of the paid value of a monthly plan, the eligible refund may be approximately 75%, subject to the final usage record, taxes, payment fees, and any non-refundable third-party charges. The final calculation is made by SJJ CLOUD after reviewing the account.
3. Resource packs and add-ons
Prepaid API calls, data transfer, storage, AI features, and other resource packs may be refunded only for capacity that has not been consumed or allocated. A recurring add-on follows the same cancellation and usage-based refund approach as the underlying subscription unless its checkout terms say otherwise.
4. How to request a refund
- Email support@sjjcloud.com from the account email address.
- Include your SJJ CLOUD account email, invoice or payment date, the product or plan, and a short reason for the request.
- We may ask for information needed to verify account ownership and calculate usage.
We aim to review requests within 5 business days. Approved refunds are sent through Stripe to the original payment method. Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the credit.
5. Service issues and duplicate charges
If you believe you were charged twice, charged after a valid cancellation, or could not access a paid service because of a SJJ CLOUD billing error, contact us promptly. We will investigate and correct confirmed billing errors. Provider outages or third-party infrastructure issues do not automatically qualify for a full refund, but we will review documented cases fairly.
6. Taxes and chargebacks
Refunds generally exclude taxes or fees that cannot be recovered from the relevant authority or payment processor. Please contact us before initiating a card dispute so we can investigate and resolve an issue. Unauthorized or fraudulent transactions may be handled separately with Stripe and the payment provider.
7. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when pricing, usage metering, or legal requirements change. The version effective on the date of your purchase normally applies to that purchase unless the law requires otherwise. Questions should be sent to support@sjjcloud.com.
